Shipping policy

Nutmeg State Nutrition is pleased to offer $7.99 flat rate shipping for any orders of $39.99 or less in all 48 contiguous states. We process, pack, and ship customer orders every weekday, except on holidays – when FedEx and UPS are closed – or if bad weather presents delays. Shipping carriers pick up orders from our Connecticut-based facility at approximately 4 PM daily and then ship them out to their next destination. 

Delivery times will vary based on location and weather.

Orders received after 3pm Eastern Time on Fridays, including Express Shipping, will not be shipped until Monday.

We accept both PO boxes and physical addresses, but transit times for PO boxes may take longer.

Warm Weather Shipping and Melting

Our team promptly ships all orders from our warehouse. However, we cannot control the conditions your package may encounter before reaching your door. Our bars are sensitive to heat during the summer months and should not be left outside. We recommend choosing “Express Shipping” and shipping orders to a location where they can be brought into a climate-controlled area upon arrival. Consider upgrading your order to include an insulated packing box with an ice pack. This will offer 48-hours of additional protection from warm temperatures.

If you encounter any issues with melting products, place the unopened products or boxes in your refrigerator for an hour. Avoid handling the individually wrapped bars whenever possible for the best results. Products may look slightly different, but they will re-harden without any impact on nutrition content or taste.

International Shipping

We offer international shipping and calculate prices in US dollars. Customers are responsible for all duties, taxes, and clearance or entry fees.
